The project partners associated this spring with various events and used the opportunity to promote the project to the stakeholders and future target groups.

WorldSKills Croatia 2019, 26-28/3/2019, Zagreb

At the very beggining of the spring on March 28th, the employees of the Croatian Forest Research Institute (CFRI) participated in the World Skills Croatia 2019. They found the spot close to the chain saw competition where competitors and their professors from forestry highs school were situated. The project was disseminated to the forestry high schools from Karolvac and Vinkovci.

Round table ‘Development of bioeconomy and bioindustry sector in the republic of Croatia’, 2/4/2019, Zagreb

During the round table in the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology on April 2nd the partners from the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) presented the project to the members of the Bio-Based Industres Consortium (BIC) together with another Erasmus+ project in the field of bioeconomics – BRACKET.

College Crareer Week, 13-17/5/2019, Osijek

At the premises of the University of Josipa Jurja Strossmayera (Osijek) on May 14th the CFRI presented the project to the students of Biology Department and other intersted stakeholders. The College career week is a five day event which orginizes various activities, workshops, round tables and much more. CFRI had an  additional opportunity to present our project on the ‘science caffe’.. For more photos take a look at the gallery.

9th Open Day of the CFRI, 23/5/2019, Jastrebarsko

During the 9th open day of the CFRI the project was promoted to the young and future forestry professionals from High school Jastrebarsko,  Agriculture and forestry high school Vinkovci and Biotechnical faculty, University of Bihać.
